Rudy Giuliani thinks Sarah Palin should run for President in 2012: "She's got a hell of a lot more qualifications than Barack Obama had when he ran for President."

"Let her run," he said on The View today. "If she's as bad as you think, she'll lose. If she can really make her case, she will win."

According to GOP 12, "a stream of boos descended, including mock ones by Rudy himself. Joy Behar objected."

This has to be him trying to get in on her campaign.

Right?

I hope she does run. It'll be a 400+ electoral vote blowout for Obama. He could stay home and win easily against Lipstick Bulldog.

I think it would also be amusing to watch Mitt Romney try to run for president. Imagine a Romney-Palin ticket, which isn't that far from reality. "Moderate" wing of the Republicans, which still control the nominating machinery, go for Romney, and he picks Lipstick Bulldog to appeal to the wingnuts. You'd have more gaffes out of that campaign than Michael Steele doped up on truth serum.

I'm a political novice, but it seems like Romney will battle Palin rather than fight alongside her. Would he be willing to be a vice president to a woman?

Mitt would never run with Palin. Personally I think Romney's people were responsible for a lot of the ethics complaints against Palin.

Mitty's pissed off that she can flout her religion and he can't.

TheYoungTurks thinks Romney was behind the attacks on Palin, as well.

Politics makes strange bedfellows, though. If Palin gets the nomination (which I highly doubt) and asked Mitt for VP (she wouldn't), I doubt he'd do it. But if he is nominated, he's enough of a political whore to try to cover his right flank and unite the party by picking Palin as his VP nominee regardless of past bad blood between them. She might do it because, as with McCain, she'd know she'd get more press than he would, though it would be more likely if she had already tried and failed to get the nomination.

If Romney was nominated, he'd be nuts to pick as his running mate anyone even slightly to the left of Attila the Hun. Palin's the natural choice.

Neither will get nominated as they alienate too many potential GOP voters.

Palin alienates everyone with a brain, Mitty alienates everyone who isn't a Mormon.

If Mitt gets the republican nod, it will be the first time I ever vote in my life. And yes, it will be AGAINST Mitt.

Being from Mass, and watching him nearly bury this state into the ground, he cannot be forgiven.

Am I the only one who thinks TYT sucks? Nothing against the guy on there, but the show in general is just garbage. I'd rather be rickrolled again.

I'm surprised you don't like TYT, Matt. What do you disagree with Cenk about? I disagree with a lot of what they say, but I like how Cenk bashes Obama and Democrats when necessary. Also, they have a lot of great clips on Beck, Palin, etc.

I'll vote for Mitt because instead of Christianizing the states he'll Mormonize the states and I think that's interesting.

Cenk doesn't bash the Obama Administration when necessary. He bashes the Obama Administration and the Democrats when they don't do exactly what he wants them to do.

I'm tempted to make a "FUCKIN LEGISLATIVE PROCESS HOW DOES IT WORK" for Cenk too.

Cenk thinks he's the base of the Democratic Party. He isn't.

Matt: Can you give an example?

Bill: Yes, and why would it be interesting to you? Are you excited to see saviors on white horses come from over the hilltops or something?

@CS keep on doing it? At least it would make election more interesting. I guess we could vote Palin in but we already had a Bush.

@Aaron,

Not off the top of my head, no. I haven't listened in awhile for the same reason I stopped listening to Democracy Now!: It pisses me off too much.
