Genuine American Monster Level: 70 CS Original | So I keep hearing right-wingers claiming that they're losing their freedoms. I always ask them to specifically list the freedoms they've lost, but I never get an answer. What freedoms have any of us lost?

There ARE more sluts in public schools. Shut up and let me explain. Level: 8 CS Original | In Belarus I lack: Freedom of speech Freedom to assemble Freedom of the press In Russia I lack: Freedom to assemble And freedom of the press to a certain extent In America I lack: None of those because Americans that complain about their freedoms being taken away obviously have never been to the former USSR.

Paid Disinformation Blogger Level: 14 CS Original | When you ask a question like this to right-wingers the answer usually has the word "Obamacare" in it somewhere. When you ask this question to CT'ers invariably you'll hear something about TSA inspections and the Patriot Act. That's about all they can come up with.

I shoot you dead. Level: 9 CS Original | I think their version of freedom is a narcissistic version of freedom known as 'I can do whatever I want, fuck the rest of you', where they won't even give up tiny freedoms for the sake of public safety. In one of the conspiracy circuits there's a guy claiming traffic lights are a violation of freedom. I'M NOT FREE I CAN'T DRIVE 150 MPH DOWN COMMUNITY SIDE STREETS

Paid Disinformation Blogger Level: 14 CS Original | Some of the Libertarians and anarchists I'm constantly getting into trouble with on Twitter also think traffic lights and stop signs are a horrific infringement on freedom. Evidently one of the miraculous things that the unfettered free market can do is prevent all traffic accidents.

Hybrid Level: 2 | My favorite was hearing someone call outdoor security cameras an "invasion of privacy". I pointed out that being on a public sidewalk isn't private.

Level: 1 | LOL, my dad constantly says that too. Whenever politics come up, he'll just ramble on about the "surveillance state" and usually the census comes up. When I ask him what the census does, he'll say "It's there to spy on us!" And of course, the cameras. When was being in public ever private? Isn't that like... the definition of public?
