"Why do you hate freedom?" is no different of a rebuttal than the TZM "What are you doing to change the world?"

Very well put, Kaiser. That's more of the type of response I was looking for, even though I disagree with some of it.

Matt, I stopped caring a long time ago. People are gonna be who they are. Can't really change them.

Roxette, that was sarcasm.

I wasn't talking about you specifically, Kaiser. I was simply pointing out exactly what you said in your last sentence in more words.

Summing up, why do libertarians suck?

JimJesus: Because Omni's lazy
Muertos: Because they smoke pot and shop at Whole Foods
Roxette: Because they hate Monsanto
CJ: Because Stiglitz/Chomsky say so
Matt: Because fuck them
Falkner: Because I read a lot

No lies. I don't really have a solid political ideology. I've stated if you go by the political compass, I'd be what they consider a left libertarian. Though I try to be as center as I can. Socially I agree with a lot of liberal and libertarian ideas. Fiscally and economically, I admit I am a little to the left.

But this doesn't mean I'm a liberal or libertarian. I disagree with a lot of liberal and libertarian things. I also happen to disagree with more of things that come from conservatives.

Good enough for me, CJ.

"Bad Hobbit. Bad. "

Every Mexican I've met I was at least 6 inches taller than.

More relevantly, yeah I was being lazy. That was pretty obvious, I thought. Moreover, I take into consideration the input people put in since I made the thread, hence them being "bullet points to digest."

I'll have a mature, well though out stance in politics soon. Give me about 8 years.

EDIT: Scratch that, CJ's post was WIN.

Left libertarian is pretty much the opposite of what libertarian means in the States. It's like comparing "I'm against guns" with "I'm against guns for poor people".
