Genuine American Monster Level: 70 CS Original | Santorum On Obama & Abortion: 'Almost Remarkable For A Black Man' To Say We Can Decide Who's A Person Potential 2012 presidential candidate and former Sen. Rick Santorum (R-PA) doesn't understand how President Obama could not answer whether a "human life" is protected by the Constitution from the moment of conception: "The question is -- and this is what Barack Obama didn't want to answer -- is that human life a person under the Constitution? And Barack Obama says no. Well if that person -- human life is not a person, then -- I find it almost remarkable for a black man to say, 'we're going to decide who are people and who are not people.'" Speaking with CNS News, Santorum also argued against gay marriage and gay adoption, saying that it's "common sense" that marriage between a man and a woman "is nature. And what we're trying to do is defy nature because a certain group of people want to be affirmed by society. And I just don't think that's to the benefit of society or to the child." | |||||
