I'm just messing with you. I don't have a problem with moderate Republicans. The problem is that none exist in elected office anymore, so what the hell are you voting Republican for? Because if you think that party stands for fiscal responsibility, you are living in a fantasy world.

To be honest with you I sometimes don't know what I am. I'm registered as a Republican but after 2008 I lost a lot of faith.

I remember when being conservative used to mean you were intelligent - Bill Buckley, Jack Kerouac, Barry Goldwater...sigh.

That ideology has been overpowered by people like GW, Sarah Palin, and that moron senator you have in Oklahoma. That's why I laugh when I hear people say "liberalism has been hijacked by SOCIALISTS!!1@"

Sorry, no. That isn't what the Republican party represents anymore. As a skeptical thinker, I would love to have choices when I vote. But I don't.

So you may as well suck it up and re-register as Democrat because that's all you got.
