Genuine American Monster Level: 70 CS Original | Jon Stewart last night put on his Glenn Beck glasses, sipped a juice box and rolled out his chalkboard to dig a little deeper into Beck's extensive investigation into George Soros. Beck earlier this month used hours of his program to try to expose Soros' supposed plans to take over governments around the world, calling him the "puppet master." To illustrate his point, Beck enlisted actual puppets on more than one occasion. Stewart concluded that Beck is actually a puppet sent by Soros to discredit Rupert Murdoch. But how can we, the viewers, be sure of Stewart's assessment? "What I'm saying right now is being broadcast on Comedy Central, it must be true, that's how cable television works," Stewart said. "The technology won't let me lie." | |||||
