Life's Too Short Level: 1 CS Original | "So you're left-libertarian, not Ayn Rand-libertarian?" That is correct, sir. Going by political compass, I am deep south, and a few blocks left of center. I've never been into the whole Ayn Rand side. From what I understand, she was quite a loon.

Life's Too Short Level: 1 CS Original | Really, Kepp? That's cool. I rarely run into any random Portuguese. I don't really know much of it, as most of it I'd forgotten when I was a kid. My wife can speak it fluently though, and she's teaching my son both languages. I grew up with a more creole dialect from Cape Verde, so my words were always iffy.

Genuine American Monster Level: 70 CS Original | "BECAUSE WHY MATT? WHY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?" Because in America you get two choices. You can vote Democratic or you can vote Republican. That's it. Those are your choices. You can throw your vote away on a third party candidate if you want, but it won't do a damn thing. This is reality.

President Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho: porn star and five-time ultimate smackdown wrestling champion! Level: 150 CS Original | >> You can throw your vote away on a third party candidate if you want, but it won't do a damn thing. He's right, like I mentioned before, I typically throw away my vote for president by voting for a third party, but when it comes to other national and local positions, I vote based on two things 1) what they've done before, 2) what they're saying they're going to do. I ignore issues like abortion, gay marriage, and drug legalization, because they take away from other issues. I'd say that 85% of the time I vote Democratic, 15% of the time Republicans. >> Voting Democrat/Republic won't do a thing either, unless you subcsribe to some weird mutation of the categoric imperative which only applies to the two biggest parties. That may be more or less true for things in the national arena, but other than that it isn't true. Republicans will often let businesses exploit the hell out of local communities, then move on to other communities and fuck them up too.

Genuine American Monster Level: 70 CS Original | "Voting Democrat/Republic won't do a thing either, unless you subcsribe to some weird mutation of the categoric imperative which only applies to the two biggest parties." That's bullshit, man. In local elections and state elections the differences between the two parties are fucking huge. Those are the really important ones. People who claim that there's no differences between the two parties are stupid or ignorant.

Life's Too Short Level: 1 CS Original | "People who claim that there's no differences between the two parties are stupid or ignorant." The difference is that one wants this country to go back to the 1950's, and the other wants it to be the San Angeles society from Demolition Man.
