Zeitgeist: Addendum - Part Four - Page 5

This is the 5 page of part four in my series of articles on Zeitgeist: Addendum. Please refer to the introduction if you were lead to this page.

[Narrator]
As of now, the world financial system is on the brink of collapse, due to its own shortcomings. The comptroller of currency stated in 2003 that the interest on the US national debt will not be affordable in less than 10 years. This theoretically means total bankruptcy for the US economy. And its implications for the world, are immense.

We'll see; going to put it on my predictions page.

In turn, the fractional reserve based monetary system is reaching its theoretical limits of expansion and the banking failures you are seeing are just the beginning. This is why inflation is skyrocketing, all debt is at record levels and the government and fed are hemorrhaging new money to bail out the corrupt system. For the only way to keep the banks going is by making more money, the only way to make more money is to create more debt and inflation. It is simply a matter of time before the tables turn and there is no one willing to take new loans, while defaults grow, as people are unable to afford their current loans. Then the expansion of money will stop and contraction will begin on a scale never before seen, ending a century long, pyramid scheme. This has already begun.

There were much more bank failures before the fractional reserve system. Prior to FRS the average bank only existed 5 years before going insolvent, and back then when the bank went under any money you had in the bank was gone too - you didn't have the FDIC to back you up. In other words 75% of all banks failed within 5 years losing everything their customers had; something still not paralleled today[5][6].

Inflation over the last 10 years has been about 2.52% - most of which was in the last 2 years. This is far better than the average 1% inflation over the last 100 years since the Federal Reserve system has been put in place - 0.25% inflation per year[7].

Therefore, we need to expose this financial failure for what it is, using this weakness to our advantage.

Here are some suggestions:

1) Expose the banking fraud. Citibank, JP Morgan Chase and Bank of America are the most powerful controllers within the corrupt Federal Reserve system. It's time to boycott these institutions. If you have a bank account or a credit card with any of them, move your money to another bank. If you have a mortgage, refinance with another bank. If you own their stock, sell it. If you work for them, quit. This gesture will express contempt for true powers behind the private banking cartel, known as the Federal Reserve. And create awareness about the fraud of the banking system itself.

I don't have a bank account with any of the above because they're all just garbage banks anyway, with terrible rates, bad rules. For example, a friend of mine has a Bank of America account. If he deposits a check he cannot access the money until the next day after noon, however if he cashes the check and then deposits the money he just got, he has it readily available. I know, I thought it was insane too.

2) Turn off the TV news. Visit the emerging, independent news agencies on Internet for your information. CNN, NBC, ABC, FOX and all the others, present all news, pre-filtered to maintain the status quo. With 4 corporations owning all major media outlets, objective information is impossible. This is the true beauty of the Internet and the establishment has been losing control because of this free flow of information. We must protect the Internet at all times, as it is truly our savior right now.

I think one thing people forget is that independent news should always been looked at just as skeptically as mainstream news. Just because they're independent doesn't mean they don't have an agenda, some of the most slanted news I've ever seen (such as World Net Daily) is "independent". You can learn a lot from television, from the Discovery Networks (History Channel, Science Channel), National Geographic, and so forth. Don't ever think that replacing TV with the Internet is always a good thing - most of the time both rot your brain.

3) Don't ever allow yourself, your family, or anyone you know to ever join the military. This is an obsolete institution, now used exclusively for maintaining an establishment that is not longer relevant. US soldiers in Iraq, work for US corporations, not the people. Propaganda forces us to believe that war is natural, and the military is an honorable institution. Well, if war is natural, why are there 18 suicides every single day by America veterans, who have post-traumatic stress disorder? If our military men and woman are so honored, why it is that 25% of the American homeless population are veterans?

The main reason is because we treat our veterans terribly, especially Viet Nam War veterans. If anything you should keep your family members out of the military out of love, not fightin' the Man.

4) Stop supporting the energy companies. If you live in a detached house, get off the grid. Investigate every means of making your home self-sustainable with clean energy. Solar, wind and other renewable energies are now affordable, consumer realities and considering the never-ending, raising cost of traditional energies, it likely will be a cheaper investment over time. If you drive, get the smallest car you can and consider using one of the many conversion technologies that can enable your car to be a hybrid, electric or run on anything other than establishment fuels.

This is a fairly good idea - if for nothing else than it's cheaper in the long run; I've got solar panels. My car, however is about 20 years old, the great irony is that I get about 35mpg, about as much as your average new car. I live close to work anyway, so I just ride my bike unless it's raining or something.

5) Reject the political system. The illusion of democracy is an insult to our intelligence. In a monetary system there is no such thing as a true democracy and there never was. We have 2 political parties owned by the same set of corporate lobbyists.

They are placed in their positions by the corporations, with popularity artificially projected by their media. In a system of inherent corruption, the change of personal every couple of years has very little relevance. Instead of pretending the political game has any true meaning, focus your energies on how to transcend this failed system.

The is fairly true; but if you want you should support a third party; if anything you can derail elections by getting some rock star to be mayor in your town rather than the same old Republicrat it's always been.

6) Join the movement. Go thezeitgeistmovement.com and help us create the largest mass movement for social change the world has ever seen. We must mobilize and educate everyone about the inherent corruption of our current world system, along with the only true sustainable solution, declaring all the natural resources on the planet as common heritage to all people, while informing everyone as to the true state of technology and how we can all be free if the world works together, rather than fights.

The choice lies with you. You can continue to be a slave to the financial system and watch the continuous wars, depressions and injustice across the globe, while placating yourself with vain entertainment and materialistic garbage. Or, you can focus your energy on true meaningful, lasting holistic change, which actually has the realistic ability to support and free all humans, with no one left behind.

But, in the end, the most relevant change must occur first inside of you. The real revolution is the revolution of consciousness and each one of us first needs to eliminate the divisionary, materialistic noise, we have been conditioned to think is true, while discovering, amplifying and aligning with the signal coming from our true, empirical oneness. It is up to you.

Now here's my problem with these suggestions:

All of these things are nothing but selfish, with the exception of #4. And even it has roots in selfishness, "It'll be cheaper." Especially #3, there's nothing about stopping people from joining the military out of your love for them, but only to "fight the establishment."

Notice there's nothing about getting involved with your community, volunteer work, starting a food drive, blood drive, bake sale, boycotting sweatshops, teaching ESL, starting a community garden or even the more technological route, a hydroponics garden, nothing.

Because actually helping people would be too hard for the armchair "movement." Why bother actually doing something when you can sit at your computer and start a Facebook group and talk about how eventually people are going to have enough to eat. For a movement dedicated to making the world a better place, there sure isn't anything about helping other people.

I sure hope the profit Peter Joseph makes, especially now that he's shilling t-shirts, goes to something other than the "Feed Peter Joseph Foundation." For a movie that advocates technology, why aren't they working to get computers into the homes of every child, holding fund raisers for schools, working to overhaul the educational system?

I checked their website, and the main "activism" thing that they advocate is just "spreading the word." Just spreading the word is probably the worst thing you can do, a single mother isn't going to give a damn about the message if she's working two jobs to support her family, too exhausted to think, and you offer no solutions or support for her except for, "We must stop the fractional reserve system!"

But that's the point. If you're watching this, if you're reading this, chances are you're probably not poverty stricken. It's downright narcissistic to believe you're really helping anyone by spreading the message.
