Okay, this is a little unconventional.

Lately I have been feeling more and more resentful of those who better off than I am.

I normally stop myself from unjustifiably bitching and moaning by acknowledging the many millions who are far worse than I am, and that no one picks the family they're born into.

But it's getting harder and harder. I think I feel this way because I subconsciously realize that it's because of the differences in how just a few thousand dollars income can have a profound effect on one's development, ability, etc.

But my thoughts have gotten too muddled to continue alone.

Discuss? You'd be helping a teen through the miracle of the internet.

I don't know what to say other than: I know exactly how you feel. I wish I could tell you that if you just work harder, things will get better, but that's probably not true.

I just feel like clawing my up to my financial comfort-ability (upper middle class I guess) as a physician or something along those lines won't make up for the countless things that could've aided my family and myself.

That, and I'm worried my growing resentful attitude will inadvertently bleed into my interaction with these people, one of whom is someone I love dearly. (my girlfriend)

For the Record;
Omni-Science: lower middle class Hispanic, blue collar parents with college degrees but unable to get a job in the USA
Omni-Science's Girlfriend: Upper middle class White, one parent with multiple degrees in family and marriage

Seriously?

In the times of the Internet you have no reason not to make money.

You can still buy Google Ads for 40 cents and sell the leads for 3 bucks, you can pay some moneyless writer a grand to develop a product that crushes anything out there and sell it on blogs. You can promote other peoples shit and build a list. You can learn copywriting and just rent a list from SRDS.

There's only like a thousand books out there that teach this stuff, ranging from Dan Kennedy for blunt "in your face"-business advice to Jay Abraham for nice, conceptual tactics and strategies.

It's probably not the best advice I could give, as it will only work for so much people. Unless we have some global wealth distribution reform, there gotta be minimum wage jobs, and those people will work far harder than I have or ever will. That's one of the three things that draws me to things like TZM.

But you won't be able to help the poor by being one of them.

Doesn't get much better when your middle aged on the internet.. :-)

If you work harder with others helping, then yes it does get better.

I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for the help of some of the folk around these parts.

Thats good to hear!

We really could have done with a TZM sub forum titled 'How to make money'...

See, I didn't know any of this!

If you could care to tell us all, how we can make money, we can go out and do it!

(This is what PJ should be doing, and encouraging..)

> you won't be able to help the poor by being one of them.

Best quote of the day there, PJ should have said that!

Last year, a course a friend of mine was on at university, only one person (The one with the top marks no suprise..) from that got a job today, the rest are still looking..

This is what its like now, as people fight over jobs:

Sure, try thirtydaychallenge.com for a basic overview on online advertising and warriorforum.com for some people who actually can do it, a lot of people who claim they can, and even more who just whine and waste their time. I haven't yet found the perfect way to tell who is who. Usually, the rich guys are the guys with the lowest amount of posts.

But internet is fast, and you might decide to choose a field that's not changing that rapidly or just remember "One is the worst number to have", and diversify.

Two great books on general business are
"No BS Business Success" as well as "No BS Wealth Attraction in the new economy". Both pretty blunt and right wing, just skip the occasional political commentary.

Best quote of the day there, PJ should have said that!

PJ still does what he likes to do. He doesn't trade because he doesn't like the market system. He left advertising because it's manipulative.

Nothing wrong about that if you're a regular dude, but it pretty much breaks your neck when trying to work on a huge project like TVP. You'll have to be big enough not to let your feelings control you....as well as have the right strategy (most don't, me included) and put in the work.

I don't think many people even reach that level, so even if someone found a way to make a RBE or similar project work, I doubt most people would do anything with it. I've told a lot of folks the stuff I charge for these days, nobody did anything with it. Except complain.
