There's been a lot of controversy surrounding Barack Obama and his eligibility to be the president. In this article I will discuss the wide range of topics therein and hopefully will clear some things up for people.
Obama was not born in the United States and therefore cannot be president.
Obama was indeed born in the United States, in Hawaii, and this is backed up with a certification of live birth. Aside from that though, two separate Hawaiian newspapers listed birth announcements which included Obama's in August 1961. This, naturally brings up other claims, like:
Obama's mother/grandmother/other parent could have easily called the papers and had them announced, even though he was born in Kenya.
This is absolutely stupid. Why would anyone do that? Did the individual in question think "one day Barack could be president, if only he was born in the US, I better call Hawaii and have them add some evidence for later." In Hawaii the announcements originated from official documents sent by the Department of Health; Obama's family never sent the announcements.
According to the US constitution, in order to be a natural born citizen both parents must be citizens of the United States.
Because Obama's father was not a US citizen, failing all else, birthers believe they have the constitution on lock down. Granted they have no clue what they're talking about. Anyone born within the borders of the United States or within he territories of the United States is a natural born citizen, that even includes individuals born to two illegal immigrants on US soil.
Obama is not the first president to be born in the United States but to have a parent that isn't a citizen. Chester A. Arthur, the 21st president, fit into a similar scenario, as his father was a citizen of Ireland. And yet nobody's raised this big of a stink about what it means to be a natural born citizen since the founding of the US until Obama was to become president - interesting.
Birthers use "The Law of Nations" published in 1758 by a Swissman as evidence of their claim. The problem here is painfully obvious, Swiss philosophy was not all too important for the Founding Fathers, but British Common Law was - and that is what US law is based on.
If not enough, in 1898 the Supreme Court concluded in US v. Wong Kim Ark that "natural born" means that, as I said above, just being born in the US, even to foreign parents makes you an American citizen.
Obama has yet to release his real birth certificate, only a certificate of live birth, which isn't completely valid or legal.
In the state of Hawaii if you request a birth certificate you will receive a "certification of live birth". Birthers claim this isn't good enough and isn't a real birth certificate. Of course, it isn't as simple as they make it seem; as stated by the Department of Health spokes woman in Hawaii:
"The state Department of Health no longer issues copies of paper birth certificates as was done in the past,... The department only issues "certifications" of live births, and that is the "official birth certificate" issued by the state of Hawaii".
So, they are essentially the same exact thing.
If Barack Obama would simply request his full birth certificate from the state of Hawaii then the questions [hysteria] would end.
This, of course, is related to the above but asks Obama to go the extra mile by filing a request to have his full birth certificate released. Obama's already provided a legal document and proof of natural citizenship, but that's not good enough.
In order to get the full birth certificate in Hawaii one must have a direct and tangible interest in doing so - basically meaning that Obama himself would have to do it. So why doesn't he just do it? Well if you've ever read any other articles on my web site, you'd probably be aware that as soon as Obama does this the birthers will go bonkers.
Think about it, the president says he's proven he's a natural born citizen and doesn't need to provide anything else proving so. All of a sudden he goes and does it. Well, the same people wanting him to do it in the first place would start to wonder:
"Why did he change his mind? Clearly, he must be up to something! This can only be evidence we were right in the first place!"
He's provided the documentation, so there's no reason to go further: it would only fan the flames more and solve nothing despite birthers claiming otherwise. Everyone knows birthers are blowing hot air, there's no reason to actually believe they'd change their stance at all.
The Hawaiian birth certificate says that Obama is Caucasian
The birth certificate lists his father as African and his mother as Caucasian, it does not say the race or ethnicity of the child.
The Hawaiian birth certificate says Obama's middle name is Muhammad
It does not, it says that his name is Barack Hussein Obama II
The serial number for the birth certificate is fishy.
There is no serial number, but there is a certificate number, but it's blacked out.
The Department of Health in Hawaii's director had this to say:
"I, Dr. Chiyome Fukino, director of the Hawaii State Department of Health, have seen the original vital records maintained on file by the Hawaii State Department of Health verifying Barrack Hussein Obama was born in Hawaii and is a natural-born American citizen. I have nothing further to add to this statement or my original statement issued in October 2008 over eight months ago...."
The Hawaiian birth certificate doesn't matter because Hawaii allows parents to get birth certificates for foreign-born children.
This is true, but it doesn't say that the child was born in Hawaii, as the Department of Health director of communications said:
"If you were born in Bali, for example, you could get a certificate from the state of Hawaii saying you were born in Bali,... You could not get a certificate saying you were born in Honolulu. The state has to verify a fact like that for it to appear on the certificate."
Just when you thought birthers would give up:
Obama might have been an illegitimate child.
So what? He was still born in Hawaii, even if his father was someone else.
The long form has more information, thus the certification of live birth is somehow sub par
The released "short form" is a legal document, it holds up in court, is recognized 100% by the State of Hawaii (as I explain in this article). I'm not sure what the birthers are expecting, maybe they think they'll see in the long form like "Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii but the hospital was in Kenya"
Finally! A Kenyan birth certificate proves Obama was born in Kenya!
Not so fast.
If these people thought something was wrong with the Hawaiian short-form, then they should notice a lot more is very wrong with the Kenyan birth certificate.
Firstly the certification is dated February 17, 1964 and refers to Kenya as the "Republic of Kenya". However Kenya didn't start calling itself a Republic until December, 1964. Secondly, the certification refers to the location as "Coast Province", but at that time provinces were called "Regions"
Shortly after the country went nuts and Orly Taitz tried using the fake birth certificate as evidence - granted she thinks both parents must be citizens in order to be "natural born" - the creator of the fake certificate came clean. The forger used cotton business paper, an inkjet printer, a manual typewriter, and fountain pen to create the document, and the seal was made with an old coin.
Worst of all for the birthers is that the original document was located as well as the man who it belonged to, and going one step further, you can also see what a real Kenyan birth certificate of that time looked like.
You can even create your own Kenyan birth certificate.
First secretary at the Kenyan Embassy in Washington DC said:
"It's madness, his father, in 1961, would not even have been in Kenya. When this matter first came up, the Kenyan government did its research and confirmed that these are all baseless claims."
Further the article stated:
Chessoni didn't understand what Taitz was talking about or what her discovery (the gift of an "anonymous source" who's "afraid for his life") was supposed to prove. He showed the image to other embassy employees, who rolled their eyes at what was, for some, only the latest forgery being passed off as an official document from Kenya. "It's a red herring," said Chessoni. "Maybe there are not enough facts out there."
But, I guess this could all be a part of a bigger conspiracy...
The blogger's anonymity may hide another possibility -- the fake document was planted by Obama operatives or fellow traveler in an effort to further discredit the growing demand that Obama release his birth certificate and finally put the issue to rest.
Is it really any surprise that when it comes to Prison Planet, if it's not one thing then it must be another? Wouldn't it have been easier to plant a fake Hawaiian long form birth certificate instead of hoping that an incredible scheme would discredit birthers?
Obama traveled to Pakistan in 1981, however there was a ban on US citizens traveling there, thus providing he must have had an Indonesian or Kenyan passport.
There was never a travel ban between the US and Pakistan or visa-versa at that time or even since. The New York Times even has an article from June 14th, 1981 about traveling to Pakistan which states that Americans just need a visa.
If Obama was born in the United States he would be circumcised, therefore if we view Obama's penis and it is circumcised, this would be settled once and for all.
Not all males born in the US are circumcised, but it's a popular option and sometimes is done as a matter of practice without even asking the parents. That point aside, if Obama really was born in Kenya to a Muslim family, he would likely be circumcised anyway, because it's a common practice in Islam (though not mandatory).
Furthermore, Larry Sinclair provided Michelle Obama was a detailed description of his penis and if we just got a hold of it we could break the story once and for all. Sinclair stated already, though, that Obama is not circumcised.
If Obama were ever to flash his penis for us all to verify, birthers would still not be convinced, they'd believe:
Obama murdered his grandmother so she would not reveal that he was actually born in Kenya. The media won't touch this because of how shocking and revealing this story is.
The media won't touch it because it's pure idiocy. Everything above basically proves beyond a shadow of a doubt he was born in the United States in Hawaii. I saw all kinds of nutty YouTube videos claiming the above but offering no evidence other than his grandmother died while he was in town. So? Does that mean every time a relative dies and someone's there with him or her, they are therefore murderers trying to hide secrets? Despite the fact that they've been sick for years and on their death bed?
Obama's MySpace lists him as born in 1957, instead of 1961, thus making him 52 years old; this proves something fishy is going on.
MySpace isn't an official hall of records.
Because of the surnames of individuals like Orly Taitz and Philip Berg, this proves that Jews/Zionists are in charge of the birther movement.
What I've always found most hilarious about anti-Semites look for a Jewish name or Jewish person involved with something and if they find one, they scream: It's run by the Jews! It wouldn't matter if there were 1,000 non-Jews and 1 actual Jewish person, it'd still be a part of the Jewish conspiracy.
Even so, this hardly makes any sense. If the US government is a Zionist conspiracy, why would they have their own people railing against them and stirring up all kinds of problems related to the president's place of birth?
Of course, to an anti-Semite or conspiracy theorist no logical explanation is required, for they'll simply insert whatever psychotic reason they want. I haven't really seen a crazy reason yet, so I'll make one up:
The Jews are using the birther movement to distract people from what Obama's really doing.
Then why use that issue? It could be anything else in the world, and even better it could be something that didn't make the president look bad in the eyes of some Americans.
There are plenty of non-Jews leading the charge in the birther movement that have more voice than Orly Taitz and others combined, for example: Rush Limbaugh and Lou Dobbs.
Obama's gone by many names over the years so it makes it impossible to learn anything about his past.
There's no evidence Obama has gone by any other name than Barack Obama. There's documentation of Obama's existence from birth, to where he's lived, to what schools he went to, books he wrote, interviews with Ebony magazine, etc. All of these are discussed in one place or another the Obama section.
Obama's grandmother admits that Obama was born in Kenya
This is another one of those YouTube videos like the "Muslim faith" one where the person talking is cut off before their statement is clarified. Due to a misinterpretation and/or mistranslation during a conversation between street preacher Ron McRae and Obama's "Granny Sarah", here's the conversation in full, without being cut off:
Could I ask her about his actual birthplace? I would like to see his birthplace when I come to Kenya in December. Was she present when he was born in Kenya?
Yes. She says, yes, she was, she was present when Obama was born.
When I come in December. I would like to come by the place, the hospital, where he was born. Could you tell me where he was born? Was he born in Mombassa?
No, Obama was not born in Mombassa. He was born in America.
Whereabouts was he born? I thought he was born in Kenya.
No, he was born in America, not in Mombassa.
Do you know where he was born? I thought he was born in Kenya. I was going to go by and see where he was born.
Hawaii. Hawaii. Sir, she says he was born in Hawaii. In the state of Hawaii, where his father was also learning, there. The state of Hawaii.
Of course, to Ron this just meant Granny Sarah had been trained to answer that Obama had been born in Hawaii to help cover it all up.
